Depending on ferry timetables, crossings from Travemünde or Rostock to Trelleborg can replace the Danish bridges. In the Uppsala area, the E4 and national road 55 towards Enköping give quick access to the industrial areas on the edges of the city.

Customs requirements for Sweden

As Sweden is part of the EU, goods from Great Britain need an export declaration in the UK and an import declaration on the EU side. EORI numbers are required for both the sender and the importer. When the vehicle leaves Britain through Dover or the Channel Tunnel, the Goods Vehicle Movement Service (GVMS) ties the declarations to it.
