The DAGO MCP connector links your AI assistant to DAGO Express via the Model Context Protocol (MCP), the open standard for connecting AI assistants to business systems. It uses your own DAGO customer account. Your AI sees the same prices, vehicles and orders as you do in the customer portal.

An AI assistant that can book real orders needs clear rules. These apply to the DAGO connector:
- No booking without your yesYour AI only books after you have confirmed exactly this offer with its price, vehicle, dates and addresses.
- Price is re-checked before bookingIf the price has changed or the offer has expired, nothing is booked and you see the new offer.
- Your password stays with DAGOThe password goes only to the DAGO sign-in and is neither stored nor logged by the connector. Credentials are stored encrypted.
- Daily limit per companyA maximum of 10 bookings per company per day is possible via the connector – protection against accidental duplicate bookings.
Frequently asked questions
What does the DAGO connector cost?
The connector itself is free. You only pay for your transport – at the same prices as in the DAGO calculator.
How do I pay for orders I book via my AI?
Payment does not go through the AI. You receive the payment information from DAGO Express as usual.
Can I cancel or change an order via my AI?
We accept cancellations and changes by email at [email protected] (USA: [email protected]). Our terms and conditions apply.
Do I need a DAGO account?
Yes. The connector works with your DAGO customer account. No account yet? Register here for free.
We use Claude Team or Enterprise – what is different?
There, an administrator adds the connector once under Admin settings → Connectors. After that, all members find it under Settings → Connectors and only need to click Connect. If the option is greyed out, your administrator has disabled custom connectors.
Does it also work in Claude Code and Codex?
Yes. With claude mcp add --transport http dago https://mcp.dagoexpress.com/mcp in Claude Code or codex mcp add dago --url https://mcp.dagoexpress.com/mcp in Codex you add the connector and then sign in to DAGO.
What data does the AI see?
Only what is needed for your request: prices, vehicles, your orders and contact details from your DAGO account. You can disconnect at any time in the settings of your AI app.
What is the DAGO MCP connector?
It is the official DAGO Express server for the Model Context Protocol (MCP), the open standard for connecting AI assistants to business systems. Once connected, your AI assistant can request prices, book transport and check the order status in your DAGO account.
Which AI assistants work with DAGO?
You can connect Claude, Claude Code, Codex, ChatGPT and Grok in a few steps. Microsoft Copilot runs as an agent in your own Microsoft 365 organisation, so we set it up together with you. Custom connectors may depend on your plan with the AI provider.
Can my AI book a transport without asking me?
No. It first shows you the vehicle, addresses, dates, the net and gross price and our terms and conditions. A booking is only made once you confirm exactly this offer. An offer is valid for 30 minutes.
What details does my AI need for a price?
Collection and delivery addresses, dates, quantity, dimensions, weight and whether the goods can be stacked. If anything is missing, it asks rather than guesses.
Which vehicles can I book?
In Europe, from a minivan through vans to a lorry with 13.6 loading metres. Your AI suggests a suitable vehicle based on the dimensions and weight.
Does the driver load and unload?
No. Loading at the collection point and unloading at the destination are done by the sender and the recipient. We do not palletise and we do not carry part loads.
Do I need a developer for the setup?
No. In Claude, ChatGPT and Grok you add the connector in the settings of the app. For Claude Code and Codex, one command in the terminal is enough.
What is the difference from the DAGO API?
The DAGO API connects your own software and requires development work. The connector works in the chat with your AI assistant, after you sign in with your DAGO account.
Does my AI see my DAGO password?
No. The password goes only to the DAGO sign-in. The connector neither stores nor logs it.
Can I book straight after registering?
New company accounts are approved by our team before the first booking.
