*Carrier liability insurance

Carrier liability insurance is not required for bicycles, motorcycles or passenger cars; however, it becomes mandatory for vehicles from the van category upwards. This insurance provides financial protection in case of damage to or loss of transported goods. DAGO requires insurance in accordance with the CMR Convention with a minimum coverage of 8.33 SDR per kilogram of gross cargo weight.

Smartphone & DAGO Express Driver App

All your drivers must have the DAGO Express Driver App installed on an iPhone or Android smartphone. Use of the app is mandatory during assignments to ensure all trips are tracked and documented for safety purposes.

How the cooperation works

Registration

Please complete the registration form on the website and upload your carrier liability insurance and business registration. Document verification usually takes 1–2 weeks. After that, you must add your vehicles and drivers to the system. Each driver needs a unique email address and will receive a verification link after registration. Only after confirming the email address and completing the required steps in the DAGO Express Driver App can the driver be successfully added to the system.

Find your first order

After activation, you can log in to our platform via a web browser and submit your first transport offer. We suggest specific rates, but you may also submit a higher bid. Accepting our proposed rate increases your chances of being awarded the transport. Please note that submitting a bid does not automatically result in assignment.

Order acceptance

If we are interested in your offer, we will contact you by phone or email to briefly confirm acceptance. For new partners, assignments are usually allocated the day before or on the day of transport. Exceptions are jobs with pickup early on Monday or during the weekend – these are allocated on Friday. Partners with a strong quality score may receive assignments up to 7 days in advance. Important: All drivers must have the DAGO Express Driver App installed on an iPhone or Android smartphone. The app is mandatory during job execution. After assignment, the job is visible in the app (drivers do not see the agreed rates).

Order execution and payment

The assigned driver will find the accepted job in the DAGO Express Driver App. The driver must log in and tap “Start job” to begin the trip. They must drive directly to the delivery address without detours and update every step — “Arrived”, “Picked up”, “Arrived”, and “Delivered”. After completion, please submit an invoice to DAGO Express GmbH. It is strictly prohibited to disclose transport rates to the customer or show documents containing full job details. Violations may result in non-payment of the entire freight and permanent suspension of access.
