Having already taken important steps to make our processes more efficient last year, we are now delighted to have reached another milestone: DAGO Express GmbH has been awarded the Brandenburg Innovation Voucher (BIG). The six-figure grant will enable us to develop new courier service software that will significantly advance our logistics processes in the forwarding and courier service.
Building on our ongoing commitment to innovation, we are working on a software infrastructure that can adapt flexibly to changing market conditions. The core elements are a scalable cloud environment and a microservices architecture that remains stable and efficient even with increasing shipment volumes.
A particular focus is on intelligent routing algorithms that take into account factors such as traffic volume, time slots and vehicle capacities in real time. The algorithm is continuously improved by means of machine learning: every urgent shipment provides new data, which the system uses to act ever more precisely. The aim is to shorten delivery times, make optimum use of resources and thus make the entire transport process more transparent and predictable.
Technology only unfolds its full value when it functions reliably in everyday use. That's why we focus on the needs of our drivers, dispatchers and, above all, our customers right from the start. Their feedback flows directly into the software design so that the user interface remains intuitive and smoothly supports daily processes.
