A disposable pallet is a transport pallet that is generally designed for single use only. It is used for the safe shipping of goods, especially for export, and is usually disposed of or recycled after one use.
Disposable pallets are often made of wood, pressed wood, plastic, or cardboard. They are inexpensive, lightweight, and in many cases meet the requirements for international transport of goods via freight forwarding without the need for return of the pallet. They are therefore particularly suitable for export shipments where no retrieval of the loading equipment is planned.
