DAGO Express has successfully passed the GDPR audit
At DAGO Express, we are convinced that the trust of our customers, partners, and employees is the foundation of our success. Therefore, we are pleased to inform you that we have successfully passed a comprehensive data protection audit conducted by independent data protection experts.
As a logistics and freight forwarding company, we process personal data of various groups on a daily basis: our customers who commission transports, applicants who apply for a position, as well as drivers and transport partners registered on our freight exchange. Each of these groups entrusts us with their data – expecting it to be adequately protected.
The audit confirmed that our processes and procedures meet the highest data protection standards required by European law.
As part of the GDPR adaptation, we have introduced a number of important organizational and technical changes:
Comprehensive data protection documentation – We have created and implemented complete documentation, including a data protection policy, a record of processing activities, and procedures for responding to data protection incidents.
Employee training – Our employees have completed special data protection training. They know how to handle personal data correctly and how to respond to potential threats.
Clean desk and clean screen policy – We have introduced policies that minimize the risk of unauthorized access to data in our offices.
Secure partner contracts – Data processors to whom we entrust personal data are verified and sign corresponding data processing agreements (DPA).
Securing international data transfers – When transferring data outside the European Economic Area, we use appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) and additional technical measures.
Our data protection procedures cover the individuals whose data we process:
Customers and business partners – Data required for the provision of transport and freight forwarding services, invoicing, and business communication.
Applicants – Data submitted during the application process is protected and processed exclusively for the purpose of conducting the application process. At your request, we can also use it for future application processes.
Drivers and transport partners – Data of partners registered on our freight exchange, including GPS location data required for order processing, is processed according to transparent rules and stored only as long as necessary.
Employees – Our team's data is protected to the highest standards, and employees are only authorized to process the data they need to perform their duties.
Under the GDPR, you have various rights regarding your personal data. You have the right to: access your data, rectification, erasure or restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to processing. In the case of consent-based processing, you can withdraw your consent at any time.
If you have any questions about data protection or wish to exercise your rights, please contact us at: [email protected]
Detailed information about how we process your personal data can be found in our updated privacy policy and in the information clauses in the GDPR section of our website. These documents are available in multiple languages so that everyone can conveniently inform themselves.
We thank you for the trust you place in us. Protecting your data is not only a legal obligation for us, but above all a matter of honor and responsibility.
