Motor Carrier Liability Insurance is not required for bicycles, motorcycles, and passenger cars; however, it is mandatory for higher vehicle categories such as vans and box trucks. This coverage provides financial protection in the event of damage to or loss of freight. DAGO requires transport partners to maintain a Cargo Policy with a minimum coverage limit of **$50,000 per occurrence**.
Warning! Do not confuse Motor Carrier Liability Insurance with:

All your drivers must have the DAGO Express Driver App installed on an iPhone or Android smartphone. Use of the app is mandatory during assignments to ensure all trips are tracked and documented for safety purposes.
To register as a fleet manager with DAGO Express, you need:
No. Free registration on the DAGO Express website is sufficient.
After registering, upload the necessary documents. Access is usually activated within 1–2 weeks.
No. DAGO Express does not offer an employment relationship; we provide individual transport orders.
We collaborate with independent contractors and subcontractors. The requirement is business registration and a vehicle.
Yes, both registration and use of the portal are completely free of charge.
We do not offer continuous employment, but rather individual transports that you can view online every day.
If you are interested in a transport, submit a price offer. If it is selected, we will contact you and assign the order to you.
No. Each transport contract is a separate order and does not create a permanent employment relationship.
Loads can be local, regional or across the U.S. Without an MC number you can only take loads that start and end in the same state; loads that cross a state line require an active MC number.
Documents, parcels, construction materials, trade show goods, pallets, etc.
No. A vehicle is essential for collaboration.
We can only consider partners who have at least one vehicle (rented, leased, or owned).
Yes. As a transport partner, you can also register with a car or a bicycle.
Smaller shipments (e.g., packages or documents) can be transported without any problems.
Verification usually takes 1–2 weeks from the time the documents are uploaded.
No, a personal visit is not necessary.
After registration and uploading the documents, we will check them and then activate you as a partner. After that, you will be able to submit offers and accept orders online.
1. Log in to your account.
2. In the “Find Loads” section, submit your best offer for an open transport.
3. If your offer is selected, we will contact you by phone and assign the order to you.
The system automatically calculates a recommended price (for example, based on the ZIP code, type of shipment, and required vehicle).
You may also submit a higher price, but accepting the suggested rate gives you the best chance of getting the load. Quality also matters — for example, punctuality and the ratio of successfully completed orders to canceled ones.
If your offer is of interest to us, we will contact you by phone or email to confirm acceptance.
For new partners, orders are usually assigned the day before or on the day of transport.
Exceptions: early pickups on Monday or during the weekend — these orders are often already assigned on Friday.
Partners with a high quality rating can receive orders up to 7 days in advance.
As soon as you are registered and activated, you will be able to log in to the portal.
In the “Find Loads” section, you will see the available orders and will be able to make an offer. If you receive an order, our team will contact you.
No. Sending an offer does not mean an automatic assignment of the order.
If the offer is suitable, we will confirm acceptance by phone or email. The same assignment principles apply as above (for new partners usually the day before / on the day of transport; for pickups on Monday morning or during the weekend — often on Friday; for partners with very good reviews — up to 7 days in advance).
Orders are assigned by our specialized team. As soon as you receive an order, we will notify you by phone or email.
After that, you will also receive a confirmation email with all the important information. You can also view your orders online at any time.
If you want to submit a new offer for the same order with a different price, first withdraw the original offer and then send the new one.
No. Within our orders, you are only allowed to transport the goods specified in the specific order. Each order is assigned to a specific vehicle.
Carrier liability insurance covers damage caused to the transported cargo that may occur during transport.
It protects the cargo owner from financial loss in the event of damage, loss, or theft. It is especially recommended when transporting valuable cargo.
Motor Truck Cargo Insurance is offered by U.S. commercial insurers and independent insurance agents. Search for "motor truck cargo insurance" in your state or ask your current commercial auto insurance agent. Your agent must send us the certificate of insurance (COI) directly, with DAGO Express Inc. as certificate holder.
Yes, it is the same coverage: the freight is insured for the entire transport. The minimum is $50,000 per occurrence, which covers standard commercial goods. Cargo insurance is not required for bicycles, motorcycles and cars; it is mandatory for vans and larger vehicles.
Auto liability insurance only covers damage caused by operating your vehicle (injuries and property damage of third parties), not the freight you carry.
General liability insurance covers risks of your business activities (for example damage to third parties or their property), but usually not damage to the freight you transport.
Business registration (or an analogous document) is necessary if you want to officially and legally conduct independent business activities.
An LLC or corporation is registered with the Secretary of State of your state; as a sole proprietor you may need a local business license, depending on your city and county. You also need a taxpayer ID for the W-9 – an EIN (free at irs.gov) or your SSN.
Always carry a blank Bill of Lading (BOL) with you. If there are no documents at pickup, fill out the BOL yourself, have the shipper sign it at pickup and the recipient sign it at delivery.
Take photos of the signed BOL and of the freight at every pickup and every delivery. This proof is required later to release your invoice.
If you know you will be late, please contact us immediately. Our team will contact the loading/unloading point, coordinate everything, and help ensure a smooth process.
If a shipment is damaged during transport, inform us immediately – call +1 757 573 9249 or email [email protected] with the load number. Document the damage with photos of the freight and of the Bill of Lading, and note the damage on the BOL before the recipient signs it.
To ensure smooth and timely processing of your invoice, please consider the following information:
Invoice address:
DAGO Express Inc.
2574 Elm Street
River Grove, IL 60171
United States
Please send your invoices in PDF format to: [email protected]
No. Invoice the agreed rate for the load. DAGO Express Inc. is a U.S. company, so there is no VAT and no reverse charge. Before your first payment we need a completed IRS Form W-9 (your business name, address and taxpayer ID – EIN or SSN), so we can pay you and issue a Form 1099 at year end where required.
Yes. Instead of the standard 30 days you can choose accelerated payment:
Reduce your invoice by 10% or 5% and send it together with legible delivery documents (signed BOL / POD) to [email protected]. In the subject line write, for example, "Order 1234 Discount 10%" or "Order 1234 Discount 5%".
Proof of delivery (POD) – usually the Bill of Lading (BOL) signed by the recipient – confirms that a shipment was delivered at a specific time to a named recipient. It documents the condition of the freight at delivery. Without it, nobody can tell whether damage happened at pickup or during transport.
No. For invoicing we need the signed Bill of Lading (BOL) or proof of delivery (POD).
Yes. You can change your vehicle data in your profile under the ""Fleet"" section.
